Sofia Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara was born in and was raised within Barranquilla, Colombia. Margarita Vergara Davila Vergara has a job as a domestic assistant. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is her father. He supplies cattle to the meat industry. There are five brothers and sisters. She was educated at a private bilingual Spanish/English school. Then she went on to do a course in pre-dental. In the end, Sofia was discovered by a photographer, whilst at the beach. This led to various jobs in television and modeling. When she turned 23 she was a model. The United States, her travel show Fuera de serie, which she hosted from 1995-98, gave her exposure. She started building the foundations for her professional career while she enrolled at the Boston University School of the Arts. Noureen started auditioning for roles following her graduation.
